The Nordmann Fir has Very dense fragrent needles with the strongest branches stiffest branches & boughs of the firs we sell. Needles face upwards rather than horizontally. This is a very slow growing tree that takes 12-17 years to reach maturity & has a denser trunk. The density of the branches make this a prized Christmas tree for folks decorating with quite heavier glass ornaments that need more secure placement.
